Youth Crises Respite Center

Enhanced readily accessible services to youth with behavioral health crises in order to avoid psychiatric hospitalizations, and to youth who are displaying behaviors that place them at risk. The Respite Center is set up similar to a group home environment and will minimize the trauma associated with the child’s situation.

Youth Empowerment Services (YES) Waiver

Intensive outpatient services for youth. The YES (Youth Empowerment Services) Waiver is a 1915(c) Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services Waiver that allows for more flexibility in the funding of intensive community-based services to assist children and adolescents with Severe Emotional Disturbances (SED) to live in the community with their families.

YES Waiver services are provided in combination with services available through the Medicaid State Plan, or other Federal, State, and local programs the child or adolescent may qualify for and the natural supports that families and communities provide.
